# Welcome To Podium BI

We are Power BI developers and we built Podium BI the way we want to interact with Power BI. We wanted a no limits way to display and share our Power BI content.

## No Code

No Code Solution to Power BI embedded.  We spent over 2,000 hours of programming so you wouldn't have to. &#x20;

## No Licensing Worries

You only need one Pro / Capacity License to get started and you never have to worry about purchasing another Power BI Pro license again

## White Labeled

Podium BI give you a truly white labeled experience. See our [Manage Organizations](/admin-settings/manage-organizations) section to view some examples.

## Limitless Sharing

* Report Bursting allows you email Power BI content to any email address, even if the user doesn't have a Pro license
  * Attach multiple Power BI reports to the same email
  * Pre-Filter reports prior to emailing
  * Not limited on how many people you can email
  * Attach the entire report, not just the first tab

{% hint style="info" %}
**Good To Know:** Choose a start time 5 minutes prior to the time you told Power BI to kickoff the dataset refresh.

{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/it7XlzX2LtC9qoC0n6q5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Capacity SKU

Pick the time to run and time zone.

## Capacity SKU

{% hint style="info" %}
**Good To Know:** This is a great feature and would allow you to bump up your capacity sku during the refresh for quicker refresh times. For example, maybe I want to bump the capacity up to A2 for this refresh.
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/c7hGaNonHEgo6duOCRE3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Site Settings

Let the fun begin

<figure><img src="/files/IJ7yZLxTvAnjKx6qXS4F" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The flexibility of site settings allows you to design your site according to your branding including fonts, logos, login screens, and welcome messages.

### Current Logo

#### This is the logo displayed once you are logged into Podium BI. &#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
**Recommendation:** Try starting with an image height of around 150 pixels with a small amount of padding around the entire image. Example of Podium Logo:
{% endhint %}

&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/RmH0ZVy5VKWVMGJhJCJUSWOax0I7WYQkX_7K47BSQw6Ha2iQiRwpolt0SFgrYfZbe0j1mhqyrlmJTvCUaL2iE9_sN7mX8XYf_I5LLCr5sW027o1SIN4pKmvLgd-b8tnlrTw0V4_XQv1E8hN6AcHabt0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Current Login Logo

#### You may choose to use a different logo on the login screen versus once logged in.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Good to Know:** If this is left empty, the current logo will be used for both the login page.
{% endhint %}

### Current Background

#### Upload a background image for your login page

{% hint style="info" %}
**Podium BI Tip:** If your background image is a solid color, it will not have to be as large of an image. Search the web for free royalty free background images or use a tool like Snagit or Canva to create your own.
{% endhint %}

### Current Favicon

#### A favicon is used in the tab of the browser and has the same height as width. &#x20;

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/2BC0cFaPgkqsufkFacoyqZa_bmQe1oWkCTqEQQ_b15-7KnV8kItO69gaJH4TRMwBYphzIlAqSofrgWKDPekXHYBIusdBXOWni7A2LDUOU4gGPkVapYY0k-rzZn2jTjqyagB6IFTZQ9t9JEpJIF59DwU" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Podium BI Tip:** Make the favicon the same dimension for the height and width. If you upload a png that is 512px by 512px, Podium BI will shrink the image down to the appropriate size.
{% endhint %}

### Current Loading Graphic

#### If you upload a loading graphic, it will be displayed while a report is being loaded.

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/VwTfShXSoz5l41k4zaBuRQaFgay1fHtBOmsQwZAWrH-3e8XsdxOw7nRPeeU5YkwNZugDVDGh2xsYQf2KZrjCOxsGbzs98YxfEbghk0rquQzvOVm3iTnyuorXaamY2e7jej3snxqFdXNY8igwvZTP12k" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Podium BI Tip:** If an loading image is not selected, a default loading image will be used. Start out with an image of 250px width by 50px height and adjust from there.
{% endhint %}

### Font

#### Choose from a variety of fonts.

### Tenant Domain

#### This is url that your Podium BI will be accessible from.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Podium BI Tip:** You are free to change this at any time, but keep in mind users having the old url will not be able to access the site.
{% endhint %}

### Search Visibility: Turn the report search bar on or off

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/6LQ3uw9yXIMOjEOv27ajQ_huMtpsVyeu0W_yVqqcLxqXWKSrdwwk2RKdesyPeWwIiHjMOp_QZNNm4c-y7GkM3FLqTTBGtdTy9Sr8i4xQnK63O6g9v5kshR4jkiMSqThdw9r_z6ch9dLo3HmDyjdehCg" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Header Display

#### Condensed view is the default and recommended display for the overall best experience. Condensed puts the report Title and Report Features on the header bar for the month real estate possible.

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/D42DRk9j0xsyk_vZ081n1DfV8iBSAyTZo9ra0TUcaVDrmUESg0tMxxLZuf9khXtVOd7sGJL2mnb08uj4SQmnWOnz19cb3LPmtz_-ZtpDroDje5HZ-JqYcC9JPYxq0ZLr_eZzEaQwl97BI_hXHGR018g" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Login Screen Welcome Text

#### By default, if you do not have welcome text entered, it will say “Welcome to “ and then the name of your site which can be found at Settings → Tenant

If you choose a welcome text, it will be displayed on the login screen:

Example:

<figure><img src="https://lh7-us.googleusercontent.com/mCLp17mOdPw3HcKHqcyYUqycT0nNtA7GTjupddTRULa2ZdHH1f3G0bJXLt-qXe-MDDynNkazSOGesGApWAXqNHi_YIXX5ZXprWydx4hA-hGH1F3ZoFbMrxVwU3V9AXP2r3W5ojXkT3KrJue9MmZ9gI4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Export more than one page of a report?

Podium BI Tip: If your report has more than one page that you want to export, make sure you are using the Show Navigation feature and that all the pages you want to export are visible.

### Why does my domain say Podium BI

### How do I Add A Custom Domain?

Podium BI Tip: If you currently own a domain, and are on the Premium or Enterprise plans, you can have your own fully custom domain. You will be responsible for making sure your SSL Certificate remains up to date.

For example, if you own the domain [www.mycompany.com](http://www.mycompany.com) then you would be able to purchase a ssl certificate for any of these:

* app.mycompany.com
* reports.mycompany.com

You can have whatever name you want before the domain name you own:

* \*\*\*\*.mycompany.com

Here my recommendation for a company Podium BI trust and have used frequently in the past. They work great and don't overcharge.

<https://comodosslstore.com/positivessl.aspx>

Once you purchase the SSL certificate, you will provide the certificate files to Podium BI and we will handle all of the behind the scenes work needed to change your existing semi-custom domain.
